We are Cristina and Patrick, from the city of Barcelona and from Serneus, a small mountain village in the Swiss Alps.

Together we form atelierpbo, a place where you can find our common passion, architecture.

Atelierpbo is a space where new realities and fictions are created. A place from where we look into the future, trough the eyes of materials, light, respect in its totality and our heart. Without limits or prejudice, listening and respecting what we see and feel, finding the dialogue without imposing

Cristina Porta Diaz

dipl. Architect

born in the urban structures of Barcelona she got in touch with arts in her early years.

Since young age she has a deep passion for music and reflected it later in the field of architecture, urban design and visualization. Thanks to her enthusiasm in music, she got a profound knowledge in the different fields of art and design.

Her passion for architecture is based in the will to find appropriate solutions for every project. She understands design as an act of fulfilling spaces with soul and atmosphere.

Cristina studied at the University of architecture ETSAB in Barcelona and finished her studies with a master degree in architecture. Afterwards she worked in different studios such as Perris&Toral Arquitectos, Jordi Marcé Arquitectes and Barozzi Veiga, mainly focusing on architecture competition, design concepts and visualization.

Patrick Boner

dipl Architect

former professional alpine skier, born in the Swiss Alps with a deep connection to the nature.

Since his first years as a student his interest is based in materials and their composition.
He dedicates his time to the investigate the possibilities and limits of materials and their role in every design detail.

His passion grows from the built result, combining static structure, material and design into one unique element. Showing its soul with its own typical haptic, touch and odour, getting alive with the use from people.

Patrick studied at the university of applied sciences in Chur, Switzerland and finished his student career with a bachelor degree in civil engineering with mayor in architecture. Working in different studios such as Bruno Jori architecture, Klosters and Barozzi Veiga, Barcelona he focused mostly on construction planing and its execution on site.
